The Isle of Dogs is a peninsula, so most journeys in and out funnel through a handful of roads, and traffic around Canary Wharf builds quickly at rush hour. Westferry Road and Manchester Road loop around the peninsula, with calmer residential streets in between.
If long working days make lessons tricky, evening and weekend slots are available in manual or automatic, and nervous beginners are always welcome.
